Chelsea fans on Twitter have backed the club's controversial decision not to host a celebratory parade should the Blues win the Europa League, while also taking the chance to poke fun at their Baku foes.

A turbulent first season under Maurizio Sarri saw the west Londoners struggle for large patches of the Premier League season, but they still finished in third place and have a chance at European silverware with the Europa League final against Arsenal on Wednesday.

The Gunners have already confirmed plans for a victory parade should they triumph in Baku, but Chelsea have no such arrangement.

Following the Blues' 2016/2017 title win under Antonio Conte, a celebratory parade was cancelled in the wake of the devastating Manchester terror attacks.

With a major European trophy at stake, a victory parade is not the number one item on either team's agenda, but Chelsea fans on Twitter have still voiced their agreement with the club's stance and relished in the opportunity to mock their London rivals.
