Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe dropped a bombshell at the Ligue 1 awards on Sunday when he suggested he could look to leave the club this summer, and Chelsea fans are hopeful that a potential move to Real Madrid could help them in their bid to keep Eden Hazard.

Speaking after picking up his Ligue 1 Player of the Year accolade at the weekend, the France international said, via The Daily Mail: "I have learned so much here, and I feel it's maybe the time to have more responsibility.

"Maybe at PSG, that would give me great pleasure, or maybe elsewhere for a new project."

France Football, via Sport, reported earlier this month that Real were ready to offer a world-record €280m (£245m) fee for the Frenchman, but they've also been heavily linked with Hazard, who has hinted that he wants out this summer.

The Blues will of course be desperate to keep hold of their talisman, especially if their transfer ban is to be upheld, and their supporters seemingly think that the La Liga giants wouldn’t be able to afford both players.

Maurizio Sarri himself hinted at an exit for the brilliant Belgian in April, but that hasn't stopped Chelsea fans on social media getting excited at the latest development.

While one said "OMG Hazard is staying" on hearing the quotes, another said "Hazard staying then get in".
