Some Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to pile the praise on Jorginho, following his performance in the 2-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.

The Brazilian-born Italy international - who has 19 caps for his country - got himself on the scoresheet with a well-taken penalty using his clever technique - in addition to that, he delivered an impressive all-round performance.

The 27-year-old also made three key passes - the joint-most of any player on the pitch - while also drawing three fouls, according to WhoScored.

The Chelsea No.5's goal was his first in the Premier League this season, and he was awarded the Man of the Match award by WhoScored for his performance against Graham Potter's side with an 8.37 match rating.

Significantly, the defensive side of his game was also impressive. Jorginho - formerly of Napoli - recorded two tackles, four interceptions and two clearances.

One fan below said that the midfielder was a "pleasure to watch" against the Seagulls, whereas another supporter said that Jorginho was "definitely" their Man of the Match.

Let's take a look at some more of the Twitter reaction...
