The Chelsea No.5’s goal was his first in the Premier League this season, and he was awarded the Man of the Match award by WhoScored for his performance against Graham Potter’s side with an 8.37 match rating.

Significantly, the defensive side of his game was also impressive. Jorginho – formerly of Napoli – recorded two tackles, four interceptions and two clearances.

One fan below said that the midfielder was a “pleasure to watch” against the Seagulls, whereas another supporter said that Jorginho was “definitely” their Man of the Match.
