Chelsea continue to be linked with a move to make Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri their new manager if they choose to sack Antonio Conte this summer, and Blues fans are excited to see striker Alvaro Morata, who earns £150,000-a-week according to The Times, potentially work under the Italian following a difficult debut campaign.

Despite winning the FA Cup by beating Manchester United 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday, Conte's future is firmly up in the air after the west London outfit's miserable Premier League title defence saw them end the campaign in fifth, missing out on Champions League qualification.

Meanwhile, big things were expected of Morata as he arrived from Real Madrid last summer as a replacement for Diego Costa, but he often struggled for success on the pitch and scored a disappointing 15 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions.

Chelsea supporters, who are also desperate to see a £170m overhaul of their frontline this summer that would leave Eden Hazard delighted, have been quick to have their say on the potential link-up between the Spaniard and Sarri via social media, and while one said "Morata gonna explode next season under Sarri", another said "Morata would thrive in a Sarri team".
