Chelsea fans rate Antonio Rudiger as biggest culprit in 2-1 defeat to Arsenal

Last night marked another frustrating evening for Chelsea fans, who have now watched their side win just one of their last seven games across all competitions, as Arsenal sealed a 2-1 victory in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final with two rather fortuitous goals.

It beckons some soul searching for the reigning Premier League champions who have struggled to maintain the same standards as last season, and leaves Antonio Conte with some difficult questions to answer as rumours about his future continue to linger.

With that in mind, we asked Chelsea fans earlier today to rate each individual performance out of 10 to uncover the biggest culprit in last night’s wayward performance and it was summer signing Antonio Rudiger who finished up with the worst average rating – just 4.3 out of ten.

That’s no doubt because of Rudiger’s role in Arsenal’s opening goal as a Gunners attempt at Thibaut Courtois’ net cannoned off Marcos Alonso and then the 22-cap German before beating Chelsea’s No.1.

So, Chelsea fans, has Rudiger been a successful signing since arriving from Roma? Let us know by commenting below…
