Chelsea fans react as Callum Hudson-Odoi scores first senior goal

Maurizio Sarri pleased Chelsea fans as he gave the young stars a run out during a 4-0 drubbing of PAOK in the Europa League on Thursday night and Callum Hudson-Odoi opened his senior account for the Blues with a fine strike.

The 18-year-old has been linked with a move to European giants Bayern Munich and is reportedly keen to make the switch after receiving minimal first team opportunities, but showed no signs of unsettlement as he enthusiastically celebrated his fantastic strike.

Cutting inside from the left, the winger shaped to shoot and fired a shot in low at the ‘keeper’s near post before reeling away and sliding to the corner flag as adoring Chelsea fans matched his jubilation.

The London-born academy graduate’s night got better as he curled an inch-perfect cross towards Alvaro Morata, whose emphatic header found the net.

Here’s how the Stamford Bridge faithful reacted to the starlet’s memorable 90 minutes on Twitter, with some suggesting that Willian and Pedro’s time is up.
