According to ESPN FC, Chelsea are reportedly considering a shock move to bring West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic to Stamford Bridge before the January transfer window slams shut, and Blues fans have been quick to have their say on the rumour.
ESPN FC says that Antonio Conte wants to sign a target man for the Premier League holders before the end of the month, and the Austria international is the latest player to emerge on the Italian’s radar.
Arnautovic has been in impressive form for the Irons in recent weeks – he has six goals in his last eight top flight appearances – but he picked up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw against Bournemouth at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Chelsea supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the latest story, and while one described the 28-year-old as “average”, another said “I would actually love Arnautovic”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…

We need to be suspended for the rest of the season. No more transfers for us. This is hysterically embarrassing.

Please close the window so this stops……
