Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi - currently on loan at Valencia - was on fine form for Belgium on Thursday night as he notched twice in quick succession to take all three points from Iceland in the Nations League.

The former Marseille man has hardly had a look in at Stamford Bridge since his switch across the channel in 2016, which is bemusing considering the Blues' current striking options consist of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, who have been wildly inconsistent and unable to find the net at all respectively.

Prior to his current spell in Spain the 25-year-old was loaned out to Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, where he netted seven times and assisted another in ten games to help his side (narrowly) secure a top four finish.

Chelsea are currently unbeaten in the Premier League, as Maurizio Sarri and his men do their utmost to prevent leaders Manchester City from running away with it - again. A new striker could well be one of the club's priorities in January, but some fans feel that the answer to their front-man problems is just a phone call away.
