One of the most impressive signings of the summer back in 2017, Tiemoue Bakayoko’s arrival at Chelsea came on the back of a stellar season at AS Monaco.
The French midfielder was at the heart of the side that defied expectations to reach the Champions League semi-finals, but unfortunately for him, his debut season at Stamford Bridge was a disaster.
However, following an impressive season whilst on loan at Milan, Bakayoko’s stock has been given a major boost, and RMC Sport now claim Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in signing him this summer.
After hearing the news the Frenchman was being lined up by their fellow top-four contenders for next season, Chelsea fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the matter.
Many supporters of the west London side were categorically adamant that Bakayoko should not be sold to a direct rival and even brought up the club’s past experiences with the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Mohamed Salah, who blossomed at other English clubs after quiet spells at Stamford Bridge.
Indeed, some suggested that the 24-year-old should be kept at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming season and should be given the chance to redeem himself following his poor first year.
Check out some of the reaction of Chelsea fans below:

Why am I having that we gonna regret this one day, like with Kevin Debrune? This is exactly how it was with Kevin, same comments about him etc…. I remember it very well. Maybe I’m wrong

Man United always after Chelsea’s players. Mata and Matic. Even their former Coach José. Now they want Bakayoko. If Chelsea want to sell Bakayoko, they should sell him to PSG.
