It appears the feel-good factor surrounding the Chelsea academy at the moment hasn’t quite impacted everyone.
Following Frank Lampard’s arrival as manager, the Blues have seen a number of young stars like Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount commit their futures to the club.
But, according to Football Insider, 18-year-old Daishawn Redan could be set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer as Bundesliga side Hertha BSC inch closer to reaching an agreement with Chelsea over a potential move.

After hearing that Redan could be set for an exit, Blues fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the matter and many were rather frustrated by the news.
Supporters of the west London side insisted that it would be “extremely disappointing” if the deal happened and stated that this was yet another youngster being thrown “into the gutters”.
Indeed, some hoped that there was a buy-back clause being inserted into the deal and pointed out how Redan failed to get a genuine chance at the club despite there being a striker shortage.

This will be so sad.
He didn’t even get a look even when the striking position was the club’s worst position

This will be extremely disappointing if this happens. Surely we will at least have a buy back option.
