Danny Drinkwater’s Chelsea career has not gone anything like he would have hoped when he joined the Blues on September 1st 2017 for £35m.
However, since arriving in South-West London, the 29-year-old has made just 23 appearances in all competitions, and has netted just one goal during that time.
Last term under Maurizio Sarri, he only featured once and was never a part of the Italian’s plans.
It appears to be a similar situation under new boss Frank Lampard this term and, as such, the England international has been linked with a loan move away from the club.
By the looks of it, the Blues faithful do not seem too upset to hear Drinkwater may depart the club on loan this summer. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts:
That would be advantageous to all parties.

Just let him go already. Tired of the rumours, hopefully this time is right.
