Despite their transfer ban, Chelsea are still planning ahead for when they are able to bring in new faces next summer.

The Blues have done well already this term even without fresh recruits.

They currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, and the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori have stepped up the plate when boss Frank Lampard has needed them. Having said that, some new arrivals would not go amiss to add some squad depth and extra competition for places.

A recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira has linked the Blues with the relatively unknown Chievo Verona right winger Emanuel Vignato. The 19-year-old has played just 10 games in Serie A but is also of interest to Bayern Munich, Internazionale and AC Milan. He is currently valued at £2.25m.
