Has there been a greater decline in a footballer’s career in recent years than Tiemoue Bakayoko? The France midfielder was part of the dominant AS Monaco side that conquered Ligue 1 and reached the Champions League semi-finals, but has since seen things dramatically go wrong.
His move to Chelsea was a complete disaster, and he spent the entirety of last season on loan at Milan in Italy. Having returned to the Blues over the summer, the midfielder featured under new boss Frank Lampard during pre-season in a bid to impress, but it appears he may have failed his audition.
According to The Evening Standard, Turkish giants Galatasaray have opened talks with Chelsea over taking Bakayoko on a season-long loan and the Blues are prepared to offload the Frenchman.
After hearing the news the midfielder could once again be set for a spell away from west London, Chelsea fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the possible move.
Many urged the club to get rid of Bakayoko as soon as possible and insisted that it would be the “best for all concerned” were he to depart.
Others however were slightly more reluctant to see him leave and threw their backing behind the 24-year-old star.
