Chelsea fans are proud of their two players who were named in the FIFPro World XI at the FIFA Best Awards on Monday evening.
N’Golo Kanté and Eden Hazard were both named in the team after a stellar season for both club and respected countries. Kanté was an integral part of the French national team’s recent World Cup success in Russia, while Hazard captained Belgium to third place.
They were both the standout players in the Chelsea squad after a disappointing campaign last season that saw the Blues finish fifth, only winning the FA Cup as some sort of redemption. They have, however, been part of a rejuvenated Chelsea under new manager Maurizio Sarri this season with the team yet to lose a game in the Premier League, picking up five wins and one draw.
Kanté and Hazard will also be hoping to steer Chelsea to a top four finish this season, as well as some possible silverware.
