Despite being just 26, Alvaro Morata has enjoyed somewhat of a journeyman’s career so far. The Spain international has been on the books of many of European football’s biggest sides, including Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
The striker joined Diego Simeone’s side on an initial 18-month loan deal this January, but reports in recent days have now claimed Atletico will have to make his move permanent this summer or risk missing out on him.
The Telegraph had revealed that Morata’s parent club Chelsea have issued an “ultimatum” to Atletico and called on them to sign the forward for £50m, or see his recall clause exercised.

This new report adds that the Spanish giants are keen to sign Morata permanently, which led to Chelsea fans taking to Twitter to voice their opinion on the matter.
Many were pleasantly stunned at the fact the Blues would recoup most of the money they spent on signing Morata in the first place and were in awe at how the club’s director, Marina Granovskaia, had pulled it off.
Indeed, many supporters revealed that they were pleased to see the back of the Spanish star after some of his previous comments about the club.

There’s no way Frank will want him back, the way he slated the club, the fans and his teammates.
