Brazil have named their squad for their upcoming international friendlies against Russia and Germany later this month.
The South American nation are regarded as one of the favourites to challenge for the 2018 World Cup, but it is still unclear whether Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar will be fit for the tournament.
Brazil have a wealth of talent in the final third of the field, but it was not a surprise that Chelsea attacker Willian was named in their latest squad, which is packed full of talent.
The 29-year-old, who is valued at £28.8m by transfermarkt.co.uk, has scored 13 goals and registered 10 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea during the 2017-18 campaign.
Willian’s next Brazil cap will be his 50th, and he has managed eight goals for the five-time World Cup winners.
Chelsea fans have been reacting to Willian’s call-up, and they are not surprised that it has occurred due to the attacker’s brilliant form for the Blues in recent months.
