Chelsea's Alvaro Morata scored in back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since November 2017 - where he notched against Manchester United and West Brom in consecutive games - to help his side go 11 games unbeaten in the league this season and move above Liverpool on goal difference as they got the better of Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Spaniard could have had his hat-trick in the dying moments of the game but failed to find a finish as he tried to scoop the ball over the oncoming Wayne Hennessey, but was awarded man of the match regardless.

Having received his fair share of criticism after previously struggling for form in front of goal, the former Real Madrid man will have been pleased to get on the scoresheet on Sunday and will be hoping to continue his confident run as the Blues visit Everton next weekend.

However, some Chelsea fans refused to be caught up in the hype and still feel that the striker doesn't offer enough to the team.

Here's how they reacted on Twitter.
