Chelsea have incurred the wrath of their own supporters on Twitter after a releasing a statement in response to the travel issues brought about by the Europa League final venue.

The relatively tame statement offered its sympathies to Chelsea supporters who have struggled to find viable transportation to the European showpiece while failing to offer clear solutions and also informing supporters that no live screening will be shown at Stamford Bridge, something that Tottenham are doing for June's Champions League final.

The May 29th Europa League final has been plagued by trouble and controversy after many supporters were unable to travel to Baku for a feasible cost and Henrikh Mkhitaryan was forced to withdraw due to political turmoil between his native country of Armenia and the Azeri hosts.

Arsenal released a statement of their own on May 21 announcing Mkhitaryan's absence and proclaiming their disappointment at the situation.

Despite the lengthy declaration on Chelsa's official website, many Blues supporters feel that the club has acted weakly and is not doing enough to find solutions.
