Michy Batshuayi has struggled to make his mark at Stamford Bridge since he joined Chelsea in 2015 and it doesn't appear that trend is likely to change anytime soon. The Belgium international boasts a clinical record for his national side and a spell with Borussia Dortmund in 2018 illuminated his prowess.Yet something doesn't seem to be clicking in west London and supporters are getting increasingly frustrated by what they're seeing from him.

Frank Lampard introduced him into the action against Lille on Tuesday night but he managed to rile plenty of fans during an 18 minute cameo.

The frustration amongst the supporters is understandable. This is a striker with a strong history in front of goal - including 16 in 29 at international level - but his efforts to establish himself in the Premier League have failed thus far.

And it seems that his inability to discover a rich vein of form in and around the penalty area has corrupted his decision-making.

The criticism didn't end there, though, as particularly disgruntled fans called for the 26-year-old to be sold in the future, with one labelling RB Salzburg sensation Erling Haaland as a suitable replacement.
