Chelsea found themselves in a difficult position during this summer, as they were unable to bring in new players as they dealt with a two-window transfer ban.

Of the five arrivals, only Antonio Rudiger appears to have a future at the club. Alvaro Morata has joined Atletico Madrid, whilst Danny Drinkwater has been loaned out to Burnley.
