After a summer of stagnation as the powers that be decided how to most cost-effectively remove Antonio Conte from his post, Chelsea can finally move forward with new manager Maurizio Sarri at the helm.

Belated as it may be, Sarri's Blues reign got going in earnest with his maiden press conference in his new role and the former Napoli manager expressed that he feels the squad he has inherited at Stamford Bridge lacks quality in central midfield.

That is despite the fact that his appointment saw Italian international Jorginho snub Manchester City and engineer a swift reunion with his old manager as Sarri's first piece of transfer business in the Chelsea hotseat.

That early reveal has convinced Chelsea fans that Russian World Cup star Aleksandr Golovin is set to be the next man to join the Sarri revolution at the Bridge, as part of a three-man central midfield axis comprising of him, Jorginho and World Cup winner N'Golo Kante.

Maybe Chelsea fans are just impatient after a slow start to the summer so far, but they are getting ahead of themselves on this one; they think Golovin is all but done...
