Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak impressed and helped keep Arsenal at bay in the first leg of the two sides' Europa League semi-final tie at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night, and Chelsea fans have urged their club to sign the stopper, rated at £63m by Transfermarkt, to replace Thibaut Courtois next season.

The Belgium international has largely impressed since coming into the Blues first team in 2014, but he has struggled at times this season and has come under fire from the Stamford Bridge faithful on Twitter for some of his displays.

Meanwhile, Oblak has only conceded 24 goals and has kept 26 clean sheets in 44 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga side this term, and he was once again in impressive form in north London after his team had been reduced to 10 men with less than 10 minutes on the clock.

Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the 25-year-old's performance via social media, and while one said "he is 100x better than Courtois", another said "go all out to sign Oblak please".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
