Everton starlet Ademola Lookman impressed after coming on as a substitute in his side’s 2-1 defeat to arch-rivals Liverpool in the third round of the FA Cup at Anfield on Friday night, and Chelsea fans have urged their club to sign the youngster, who is rated at £6.3m according to Transfermarkt.
The Toffees found themselves 1-0 down at the break thanks to James Milner’s penalty for the hosts, and Sam Allardyce decided to introduce Lookman in place of Wayne Rooney seven minutes after the interval.
It was a move that paid dividends as the 20-year-old proved to be a real threat out wide, and it was his burst up the pitch on the counter-attack that eventually led to Gylfi Sigurdsson’s equaliser.
Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the wide-man’s performance via social media, and while one simply said “sign Lookman”, another urged the Premier League holders to “sign Lookman and Richarlison”.
