Chelsea fans urge club to sign Ahmed Musa after standout Nigeria display

Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa was Nigeria’s hero as he scored a brace in his nation’s 2-0 win against Iceland in their latest 2018 World Cup fixture on Friday, and Chelsea fans have urged their club to sign the 25-year-old.

Despite failing to make much of an impact for the Foxes since joining them from CSKA Moscow in 2016, he was handed a starting berth on Friday and made the most of his opportunity in the XI for his country.

The attacker used his pace and skill to great effect throughout, and following a brilliant touch and finish for his first goal, he then scored a fantastic solo goal to ensure Nigeria picked up their first points in Russia.

Chelsea supporters, who have also urged their club to sign another 26-year-old World Cup attacker with one saying he would be a “massive improvement on Willian and Pedro”, were quick to have their say on Musa’s latest display via social media, and while one said “Musa > Morata, sign him up”, another said “Chelsea should sign this Ahmed Musa”.
