Chelsea fans urge club to sign Isco after he shines in Spain draw with Morocco

Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco shone for Spain despite their disappointing 2-2 draw with Morocco in their final 2018 World Cup group game on Monday, and Chelsea fans have urged their club to sign the 26-year-old, rated at £67.5m by Transfermarkt.

As he had done in their previous two fixtures, the Spaniard started in a central role behind former Chelsea striker Diego Costa, and he made a big impression from both an attacking and defensive point of view.

Not only did he get on the score-sheet by firing high into the roof of the net from Andres Iniesta’s pull-back and produce six key passes, as per, but he also did his fair share of defensive work too with three tackles and two interceptions.

Chelsea supporters, who have urged their club to re-sign a former £25.2m attacker who continues to shine in Russia,  were quick to have their say on Isco’s display via social media, and while one said “what I’d do to have Isco at Chelsea”, another said “I think I’ll cry if we get him”.
