Chelsea fans urge Hazard to sign new deal

Chelsea will not be present in next season’s Champions League following their fifth-placed finish in the 2017-18 Premier League table.

The Blues did end the season with the FA Cup trophy, however, with Eden Hazard’s penalty securing a 1-0 win over Manchester United last month.

It would be fair to say that Hazard struggled for consistency last season, but he still scored 17 times and registered 13 assists in all competitions for the London club.

And there is simply no debating the fact that the Belgium international, who is valued at £99m by transfermarkt.co.uk, is one of the best players in the Premier League when in full flow.

Hazard will see his Chelsea deal expire in two years, however, and it is understood that the attacker is keen to move on this summer.

Real Madrid have long been linked with a swoop, and this might well be the summer where the deal takes place.

The Chelsea fans, however, are still hopeful that Hazard will sign a fresh contract at Stamford Bridge.
