According to The Telegraph, West Ham United are considering a summer move for Chelsea's frustrated midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

Drinkwater joined Chelsea from Leicester City in last summer's transfer window, with the Blues paying in the region of £35m for the England international.

The 28-year-old has struggled with injuries and a lack of form this season, however, and has not represented the English champions since their defeat at Manchester City on March 4.

It has been claimed that Drinkwater, who is valued at £18m by transfermarkt.co.uk, will look to leave Stamford Bridge in this summer's transfer window, and it would be fair to say that the Chelsea fans have welcomed the news.

There is no question that it was a surprise when Drinkwater made the move to London, and it would not be that shocking to see the former Manchester United seek pastures new at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
