Chelsea were on top form in the English Premier League on Saturday, demolishing Stoke City 5-0 at Stamford Bridge.

The win moves the Blues up into second position beyond Manchester United who failed to win in the day's late game at home to Southampton.

Antonio Conte's side were in no mood for messing about during the encounter, rushing to a 3-0 lead by half-time thanks to Antonio Rudiger, Danny Drinkwater and Pedro, before Willian and Davide Zappacosta found the net in the second half to complete the scoring.

Drinkwater's goal was the highlight of the afternoon, smacking a 20-yard half volley into the far corner to the delight of the home supporters. It was his first goal in Chelsea colours since making the switch from Leicester City.

Fans were overjoyed with his all-round performance with many reckoning he is the best partner available to N'Golo Kante.

They took to Twitter to sing his praises after Saturday's display...
