Needless to say, Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel isn’t best known for his goals.

In fact, the Nigerian international had previously netted just four goals in nine years at Stamford Bridge – and two of them came during his first season!

Yet, the sheer presence of Jose Mourinho in the dugout appears to have aided the defensive midfielder in discovering his scoring touch. He bagged two goals last term under the Special One and has added to that tonight with this erm… effort against Sporting Lisbon:
