Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has shown that his skills extend to more than just shot-stopping during a training session.
The Belgium international took to Twitter to post a video of himself netting a 30-yard free kick at the Blues’ Cobham training base.
Nowadays in modern football, managers want goalkeepers who are good with their feet, but perhaps Chelsea got more than they were expecting from Courtois.
The clip shows the 24-year-old calmly step up to the ball before whipping it over a fake defensive wall, onto the bar and into the back of the net.
Courtois seemed very pleased with his efforts as he boasted on social media that he can hit the target.

Antonio Conte’s men do not particularly need any help up front, though, as the team are the third-highest scorers in the Premier League on 42 goals.
Only Liverpool (48) and Arsenal (44) have scored more in the top flight this season, while Diego Costa is top scorer on 14 goals.
At the other end of the pitch, Courtois has helped Chelsea keep 11 clean sheets, and they are just behind Tottenham Hotspur in having the best defence in the division having conceded just 15 goals in 20 games.
