It’s been a while since Chelsea sent Twitter into overdrive. All of ten minutes in fact.
Jose Mourinho’s team selection for tonight’s crunch Champions League fixture against Dynamo Kiev has divided opinion. After all, Eden Hazard, as we all know, is the world’s third best player, so dropping him for a home game against Dynamo Kiev even though there’s not really a big game on the way this weekend does seem strange.
Are Chelsea braced for another defeat tonight? Is Jose Mourinho safe from the chop if indeed defeat does come? What does it say about Mourinho’s likelihood to face the chop given how much he seems to chop and change his own team himself?
Does the fact that he continues to bench his biggest stars say a lot about the pressure he’s under? We think it does, and after every negative result there’s an interesting press conference after.
Keep sending Twitter into meltdown, Jose. You’re making Chelsea the best team in the world to watch. Unless, of course, you’re actually a Chelsea fan….

Hazard benched. If there was ever a game to tank confidence in, it's this one. Bizarre man management.
