Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao has said that he would fancy a move to England at one stage of his career and feels he could adapt well to it.
Falcao has been a long term transfer target of Chelsea and the Blues may make a bid in January to bring the Colombian hitman to West London. Falcao has claimed that he is a long term admirer of the English game and some of the players that have played here.
“England? One day, I could go,” he told The Times.
“It is a game I have watched for a long time and one day I would like to sample it.
“I used to watch it on television when I was a kid. Players like Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, and (Gianfranco) Zola. But the one I supported was (Faustino) Asprilla, when he was at Newcastle.
“I think I could adapt to England. I think I could score goals.”
