The Czech Republic international lost his spot as the Blues’ No. 1 over the summer following Thibaut Courtois’ return from a fruitful three-year loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
Rumours suggest that manager Jose Mourinho promised the 22-year-old Belgian regular action in a bid to convince him to head back to Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Atleti, Real Madrid and Barcelona thought to have been interested.
Courtois has since shone for Chelsea, leading to talk that Cech will be unable to win back his first-team berth.
The likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Roma have been heavily linked with winter moves for the 32-year-old, while teams such as PSG, Besiktas and Monaco are also watching the situation.
But, even with Cech known to be frustrated with his situation, his agent, Viktor Kolar, says that the goalkeeper will not be heading away from west London next month:
“There has not been contact with Roma and certainly Petr isn’t going to be moving in the January transfer window,” he is quoted by talkSPORT.
