Chelsea prepare £25m Serie A raid

Paul Pogba (Juventus)Chelsea are planning a £25m January move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, according to reports from The Metro.

The French midfielder has blossomed since his move to Turin from Manchester United last year and is now thought of as one of Europe’s finest young talents.

Jose Mourinho has been alerted by his rubbed yet composed displays, which has led to rumours that he is set to launch a bid.

‘The Special One’ is keen to draft in a solid midfielder as he looks to make the Blues England’s dominant club force once again.

Juve are desperate to keep the 20-year-old, but have confessed that they may be forced to sell in the not too distant future.

Mourinho is hopeful that he can persuade them to part with Pogba this winter for £25m.

The youngster signed for the Serie A champions on a free after refusing to extend his deal at Old Trafford.

As a result, any fee the Italians receive would mark a quick profit.

Arsenal are also keen, but Mourinho is hopeful that he can convince Roman Abramovich to fund a big money move.

Pogba has two and a half years remaining on his contract and is believed to be happy at Juve.

Should Chelsea do all they can to sign Paul Pogba?
