Chelsea are reportedly lining up a shock managerial replacement should Jose Mourinho be shown the door with Juande Ramos being eyed, according to Eurosport.
The Times have also reported this story and suggest that Ramos could be brought into the club as interim manager if the ‘Special One’ is given the chop.
The Spaniard is best known in the UK for a diabolical tenure as Spurs manager, where he oversaw one of the worst league starts in the club’s history and was axed before Christmas in his debut campaign.
However, Ramos’ previous job was with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in Ukraine, and he had a far more successful time.
If The Blues are to replace Mourinho with a former Spurs failure it would be one of the most shocking managerial appointments in recent history.
However, The Times have also reported that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich remains unlikely to sack Jose Mourinho despite their appalling start to the season.
