Chelsea readying January move for long-term Man United target

Chelsea are weighing up a January move for highly-rated Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho, according to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 23-year-old Sporting Lisbon ace has long been hailed as one of the best young anchormen in European football and has been aligned with Manchester United since the days of David Moyes.

Despite the persistent links – Liverpool and Arsenal’s names have also been thrown into the mix – he’s remained in his homeland, but reports claim that Chelsea are looking at a winter deal.
