Chelsea are expected to bid for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini in January after the player claimed he was looking for a move away from Merseyside and manager David Moyes refused to rule out his departure as reported in the Daily Mail.

Fellaini has started the season in fine form and seems to have taken the opportunity to put himself in the shop window with Chelsea apparently very interested in the adaptable midfielder.

It may take a bid of up to £30million for Everton to let their star man go, but a club that has indifferent financial troubles may end up losing their man for a lot less than their valuation.

“I won't say there's no chance in the next window because everybody is available throughout the world if the offer is right,” Moyes said.

“But one thing I know is the transfer window is closed so he's not going anywhere right now.”
