Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle is closing in on a move to Wolfsburg after agreeing terms with the Bundesliga side, Sky Sports are reporting.
The 24-year-old has grown frustrated with a lack of playing time under Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge and, although recently claiming he was willing to fight for his place, it appears the midfielder has now decided to move for a change of environment.
Mourinho earlier stated that a huge offer will be needed to be made for him to part ways with the World Cup winner, and Sky Sports are reporting that the Bundesliga side have agreed to pay a fee in the region of £20million to bring Schurrle back to his homeland this month.
His Chelsea future was in doubt after failing to secure a regular role at Stamford Bridge, starting only five league games and appearing a further nine times from the bench this season.
Schurrle was also recently linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund, with the Blues reportedly eyeing a potential swap deal involving Germany international Marco Reus.
