Chelsea star to push through transfer move

Chelsea's David Luiz celebrates his goal against Aston Villa

Barcelona believe that Chelsea livewire David Luiz will tell the West London club that he wants to move to Spain, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Catalan club had an initial bid rejected for the Brazilian who can also play in midfield earlier this week.

However Barcelona are expecting Luiz to push through the move as he is guaranteed regular football at the Nou Camp.

New Blues boss Jose Mourinho is undecided on where to play the 26 year old with heavy competition at centre back, however the former Real Madrid boss does not want to sell.

Mourinho has urged Barcelona to move on to different targets which include Liverpool’s Daniel Agger as the West London club are not looking to sell their best players.

‘The bid? It’s lost time for them,’ said Mourinho.

‘My advice to them is to go to the second player on their list because they are wasting their time. We don’t want to lose our best players. No chance.’
