According to talkSPORT, Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan is "only focused on Roma" amid speculation over his future.

What's the Story?

Despite a number of reports linking Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan with a move to Chelsea, the Belgian star insists he is happy in the capital.

In an interview with Mediasat Premium, the 29-year-old stated;

"I am focused on Roma. I think I made the choice I was happy with last year and the year before. I am happy to represent this team, I live happily off the field and I see absolutely no reason to change that."

"It's an honour for me to wear the armband, following the likes of Francesco Totti, Daniele De Rossi and Alessandro Florenzi."

How good has Nainggolan been this season?

The Belgian has started the new season much the same as he finished the last one; on top form.

Nainggolan has made 15 starts for Roma during the campaign so far, scoring two goals and providing three assists. However, his contribution to the Italian side goes further than the stats sheet.

The midfielder, who is valued at £36million by Transfermarkt, has a tireless commitment to his club and is exceptionally good at contributing to both offensive and defensive phases of play.

Would Nainggolan be a good signing for Chelsea?

This is a difficult one. While it is clear that Nainggolan is one of the best midfielders in world football, a couple of factors go against any potential move to West London; his age and the plethora of central midfield talent currently occupying the squad at Chelsea.
