Chelsea are interested in signing £25 million-rated Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette with Blues frontman Loic Remy going in the opposite direction, according to The Sun.
Lacazette has enjoyed a hugely successful season at Ligue 1 side Lyon, scoring 31 goals in all competitions. The Frenchman has been heavily linked in the past with a move to Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool, however league leaders and champions-elect Chelsea have now emerged as the favourites to land the player by offering up a money-plus-player deal.
28 year-old Remy has found first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge hard to come by in his sole campaign at the West London club due to the superb form of Diego Costa this summer, and may welcome a move back to France if it guarantees him more playing time.
Chelsea can clinch the Premier League title if they manage to beat fellow London side Crystal Palace at the Bridge on Sunday.
