Chelsea transfer boost… Forgotten star attracting lucrative interest

Chinese Super League giants Jiangsu Suning are interested in taking Radamel Falcao off Chelsea’s hands early, according to reports from The Telegraph.

The Colombia international is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge from Monaco for the entire season, but has barely featured so far, netting just one goal.

It appears that, with Alexandre Pato in on loan, Falcao has no future in west London, and reports (below) claim that Jiangsu are willing to take him to East Asia.

The big-spending outfit recently paid £25m to sign Ramires from Chelsea, and have until the end of February to conduct deals with their own transfer window due to run later than those in major European nations.

An agreement would need to be struck between the Premier League giants, Monaco, Jiangsu and the player himself, but with all the teams seemingly keen and the Chinese heavyweights able to pay Falcao £140,000-per-week, there is potential for the switch to be given the go-ahead.

Interestingly, Jiangsu wanted Pato before he sealed his half-season loan move to Stamford Bridge.
