Another day, another update in regards to the manager position at Stamford Bridge left vacant by Maurizio Sarri. Today's Blues transfer roundup includes big news in regards to the club's pursuit of Frank Lampard, a confirmed loan for a 20-year-old goalkeeper and a bid made by rival clubs for a Championship target.

Lampard deal done

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, Lampard is confirmed as the new Chelsea boss. The contract will run until 2022. However, there has been no confirmation from the west London club.

Baxter loaned out to Ross County

Chelsea have confirmed that goalkeeper Nathan Baxter will join Ross County on loan for the whole of the 2019/20 campaign. He spent last year at Yeovil Town and impressed so much that he picked up all of the League Two side's Player of the Season awards.

Bids made for Loader

Leicester City, Brighton and Cardiff City have all had bids rejected for Chelsea target Danny Loader according to Football League World. Loader played 21 times in the league for Reading last season and is also being pursued by Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Lyon amongst others.
