Chelsea veteran still needs ‘L’ plates

He may be one of Chelsea’s most experienced players on the pitch but Didier Drogba still needs to put in time on the road by the looks of things.

The Ivory Coast international got a buggy jammed at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground yesterday as he attempted to ferry Eden Hazard, John Obi Mikel and Branislav Ivanovic to the pitch.

However, Mikel wasn’t waiting around to try and help his teammate out and quickly bailed when the going got tough.

It wasn’t exactly ideal preparation for the visit to Anfield today. Hopefully the striker’s confidence hasn’t been too hurt by the mishap.
