Callum Hudson-Odoi had a mixed 2018/19 season, to say the least.
In fact, not many people outside of west London knew his name before the start of the last season, and it remained that way until the latter stages of the campaign. However, the young forward ended up playing 24 games in all competitions, scoring five goals and assisting a further five for Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea.
More importantly, four of those goals and two assists came in the Blues’ Europa League winning run, which solidified him as one of the key pieces in clinching the club’s first trophy since the FA Cup the previous season.

But Hudson-Odoi has now taken to Instagram to share a new throwback photo in the Blues’ kit, which could even indicate that the announcement of his agreed contract renewal is on the way despite rumours linking him to a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
Timmy Abraham and Reece James were among the first stars to comment as they both posted some emojis to support their friend.
But there were others, as well, and Tariq Uwakwe stated that the blue really suits him, which could also be an indication of some big news coming up soon.
