If you haven't already been informed, there’s a small matter of Manchester City vs. Chelsea this weekend with the victor set to claim the top spot in the Premier League.

On Saturday, Antonio Conte takes his resurgent Chelsea team north to face Manchester City in the hope of extending the Blues' lead over their rivals.

What makes the contest so mouthwatering is the fact City host the league leaders having not won on their home soil since September 17th's victory against Bournemouth.

On the contrary, Conte's side have now won seven games on the bounce and conceded just one goal in the process. The Blues must ensure Diego Costa is fit and firing this Saturday to provide them with the best opportunity to topple Pep Guardiola's side.

Ahead of the heavyweight clash, Football FanCast have opened the vault to take a look at the FIVE best Blues goals scored against the Citizens in recent years.

Frank Lampard - 2010

Lampard kicks off the countdown with his strike in a 2-4 defeat for Chelsea in 2010. The goal perfectly sums up Lampard's ability create space and play on the shoulder before firing the Blues into the lead.

The goal proved invaluable in the end as the Blues succumbed to a loss at Stamford Bridge, but it remains a stellar strike in spite of the result.

Ramires - 2011

In January 2011, Chelsea signed dynamic Ramires midfielder from Benfica. But the Brazilian made little contribution until the visit of Roberto Mancini's City in March 2011.

City aimed to take a point away from Stamford Bridge before Ramires marked his stamp on the game. After picking up the ball on the edge of the final third, Ramires glided two City defenders and fired it past a helpless Joe Hart.

The Blues went on to win the contest 2-0 and finished above City on goal difference at the end of the season.

Fernando Torres - 2013

It's not the quality of the strike, but the importance of Fernando Torres' last-minute winner against City in November 2013.

The Spaniard captured the Man of the Match award before his decisive goal and Torres' strike was one of best during his troublesome Chelsea career.

A mistake from Joe Hart ensured a Majita Nastasic back-pass was met by nobody, allowing Torres to score into an empty net and leading to an eruption amongst the Stamford Bridge faithful.

Andre Schurrle - 2014

German forward Andre Schurrle's Chelsea career was short but relatively sweet. The former Bayer Leverkusen player scored some priceless goals during his eighteen months in West London, with Manchester City regularly on the receiving end.

In September 2014, Chelsea travelled to the Etihad unbeaten and hoped to deal their title rivals a significant blow. City couldn't find a way past the Blues' back four, allowing Schurrle to pop up and score a valuable goal on the counter attack.

The contest finished 1-1 but most significantly, Mourinho didn't suffer defeat to a potential title rival.

Branislav Ivanovic - 2014

Serbian defender Ivanovic has made a career out of scoring important goals for the Stamford Bridge outfit. In February 2014, the Premier League title race was heating up with Chelsea hot on the tales of Manchester City.

The Citizens had been unbeaten in twenty-two games before Ivanovic's strike handed City their first league defeat - since the loss at Chelsea in the previous November.

Ivanovic's stunning half-volley silenced the Etihad Stadium and Conte will be hoping someone can do the same this Saturday.
