Chelsea’s penultimate game of the 2019 summer pre-season was a success.
The Blues faced off against RB Salzburg and after a thrilling contest, came out as the winners. Still, even though we saw a total of eight goals on the night, one definitely stood out from the whole bunch.
Of course, it was Pedro Rodriguez’s extraordinary back-heeled, mid-air, facing-away flick that absolutely stunned both his opponents and his teammates alike.
Even the manager, Frank Lampard, was left in awe and commented later on saying that it was an excellent effort but also commended Pedro’s brilliant movement that made it all possible.
And now, the Spaniard has taken to Instagram to share a post-match snap and he was soon swarmed by stars who were still gushing over that goal.
Ross Barkley and Carles Puyol were actually among the first one to comment and shower Pedro with praise.
Both of them were seemingly speechless so they just left a series of emojis to show their support.
Chelsea now have one final challenge against Borussia Monchengladbach before the start of the 2019/20 Premier League season.
