Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham delivers ‘priceless’ moment after 4-4 Ajax draw

Tammy Abraham has been a star of Chelsea’s season after returning to Stamford Bridge from a loan spell with Aston Villa, as Frank Lampard’s faith in youth has seen the England striker given a chance to prove himself in West London.

Only Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy has scored more goals in the Premier League than Abraham has after the opening 11 fixtures of the campaign, with the Blues hitman joint in second-place with Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero on nine.

Abraham’s influence in the Blues’ attack has been pivotal to their start to the term and current fourth-place standing, as the 22-year-old’s haul accounts for 36% of Chelsea’s total 25 goals, which is the fifth-highest involvement rate in the top-flight.

The three-time international has found the back of the net once in the Champions League this season, as well, and while Abraham may not have managed to add to that on Tuesday night against Ajax, he certainly delivered the goods off the pitch for one fan at the Bridge.

As the Chelsea players took a moment to applaud fans for their support in the midweek clash which ended 4-4, Abraham sought to offer one young supporter an extra memento for his visit to the stadium by handing him his match-worn jersey.

Abraham has shared his gift-giving via his Instagram stories feed, with the caption “moments like these are priceless”.

Tammy Abraham - 'Priceless' moment - Ajax

It would certainly have been a ‘priceless’ moment for the Chelsea fan that received Abraham’s jersey, judging by the joy in his reaction.

Abraham will be looking to add his 11th goal of the season across all competitions on Saturday, as Chelsea host London rivals Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in their final game before the November international break.
