Chelsea’s biggest challenge of the 2019 summer pre-season has ended in a tight 2-1 victory.
And it was over Barcelona of all teams.
That game was the Blues’ fourth exhibition match of their tour, while the Catalan giants were just starting theirs, and it certainly showed on the pitch.
After 90 minutes of action between two rivals who have locked horns in the Champions League on a handful of occasions since the turn of the century, Frank Lampard recorded a huge victory that will no doubt boost the morale of his troops for the upcoming season.
Tammy Abraham was one of the two names on the scoresheet, alongside Ross Barkley, as the youngster propelled the Premier League outfit into the lead in the first half.
By the end of the game he had more chances but couldn’t hit the mark.
Still, this was a big moment for Abraham and he immediately took to Instagram to celebrate.

Naturally, it didn’t take long for his friends and teammates to swarm his social media account and shower him with praise.
Plenty of big names were there to congratulate the 21-year-old on a great performance, including Man United newbie Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Arsenal youngsters Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson, Chelsea academy product Reece James, and his brother Timmy Abraham.
