Chelsea made it back-to-back away victories, their only wins in the league, with an emphatic drubbing of Wolves at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.

Frank Lampard’s men stuck five goals past a helpless Wolves side with their academy graduates continuing the goal-laden trend under the legendary midfielder.

Tammy Abraham netted his first hat-trick in a Chelsea shirt while Fikayo Tomori, deployed in a three-man defence, and newly capped England ace Mason Mount also got on the scoresheet.

The 21-year-old’s season has already gone full circle having been given the number nine shirt, which has been widely regarded as a curse. After missing a penalty in the UEFA Super Cup, that particular myth looked a touch credible.

But his three goals at the weekend tie Abraham with Sergio Aguero for the most in the Premier League so far this season, which certainly puts that fantasy to bed.

He was Chelsea’s star man earning a rating of 9.38, per WhoScored, following his outstanding match-winning performance.

As Abraham bagged his seventh of the season and fifth in just two matches, he put the Premier League on notice not only for this season but for the long-term too.

He is only 21, after all.

He won a vast seven aerial duels which was the most in the match by some margin, and that was even coming against three centre-backs while primarily operating as a lone striker – all that more impressive.

Should Tammy Abraham look to emulate the Arsenal legend in the video below rather than his idol Didier Drogba?...

Following the match, Abraham hoped it would be “his season” but in reality, it probably already is his season – He's Lampard’s first-choice, tied with Aguero for goals and will surely be in line for an England call up next time round.

The young forward, who netted 26 goals in 40 appearances for Aston Villa last season, also has that swagger about him which will soon make him a fan-favourite at Stamford Bridge, if he isn’t already considering he’s one of their own.

While being subbed off against Wolves, he put up three fingers in response to raucous boos from the home support, just as a reminder of how many goals he had stuck past them.

Expect the 6 foot 3 forward to be leading the Blues’ line well into the future, even more so after such a major contribution against Wolves.
